So in your world 80 fluid ounces of water in a two hour period is normal drinking?

Only if exercising in 90+ degree weather.   But then again your urine would not be diluted in that situation.

That was going to be my next point if needed.

Reports are Dion Jordan isn't responding to any of his teammates texts or phone calls. He has gone into hiding. Derrick Shelby went public that he is worried about Jordan right now and that he can't get in contact with him.

Why Miami hasn't just flat out cut him yet is beyond me.

Salary cap ramifications.  They cut him now, it cripples their cap next year.  They cut him after June 1 next year, they're only liable for a one year portion of his signing bonus against the cap.

This is incorrect.

If they cut him now, it eats up another $1.3 million in cap space and has no impact on the 2016 cap. Only if they cut him after June 1st or designate him a June 1st cut does he have an impact in 2016, and it is not crippling, and it would open up additional cap room this year.

Update.  I've seen reports that the Dolphins front office may not be so quick to cut him loose.  The reason being, both Cam Wake and Olivier Vernon will be UFA's next year.  By giving Jordan one last shot to get it right, he could be a fallback option to take one of their spots should the Dolphins fail to make a deal with them both.

They aren't cutting Jordan for cap purposes, but he won't be back next year on the field. He can't be trusted at all.  He had one last shot already....he F'd it up

Wake's cap number is very high next year and he is getting old. Would be 34 by 2016 season, Wake is most likely gonna be cut after this season. His agent already told Miami he won't take a pay cut and give them a hometown discount.

So, with Wake gone they can then probably re-sign Vernon most likely unless someone breaks the bank for him which is possible if he has a big year this year.
