They wanted someone to pair with Suh and depth with Mitchell.

Not where I would have went but whatever. Still have glaring holes at OG, CB, LB...not a good pick

wtf, they could have traded all the way back to the 3rd round and that guy would have still been available.

ESPN killed the pick. That doesn't matter but still

We drafted someone who had back surgery 24 months ago and is lazy! Great!

My first thought was the same that ESPN came back with "Kid is a Top 10 Natural Talent that hasn't played like it, so Suh will get on him and make him better with his work ethic".

3rd round pick? Good job. 2nd round pick? No, not a good pick.

Almost 6'6" 330lb. Needs endurance training. Has a lot of upside and little downside. I like the pick.

When Dallas Thomas is getting beat like a drum and on his back 40+ times next year we will revisit this thread...lol

As long as they keep picking either defensive players or offensive lineman, I'm on board.

Indeed.  If AJ Cann ends up having a great career as a Guard, I'm gonna be pissed.

It's as simple as this, we absolutely cannot go into the season with Dallas Thomas starting games. We can afford Billy Turner as one of the guards and have him learn, kid has a lot of talent and good teammates on the line. But, Dallas Thomas? 100% unacceptable. Don't even play the season if this is the plan.

Dumb dumb dumb.  A lot more glaring needs that needed to be filled.   This was a pick for depth. You don't do that in the first three rounds.

I'm not so sure we can bank on Turner. With all of the o-line injuries last year Turner wasn't even active for games. He wasn't good enough to be active! Fins have zero guards.

Suh is going to murder Tanny in practice games.

This guy is a project.  A big body, athletic, but has poor technique, cant beat double team, and has a rep of giving up on plays/taking plays off.  This was definitely not someone you would use a second round pick on.  Especially considering we have no third rounder

Jordan Philips first TWEET after being drafted had the line...."lets get this money"

We see where his head is at! He was lazy while he was poor, I can only imagine how motivated he will be with a couple millions in his pocket
