I'd like to see it, he's well rested.  He would make a good backup for the right price.

In a word...Why?

Miami has two good young RBs already, Lamar Miller and their rookie, Jay Ajayi. Why would the team subject itself to the media circus that would definitely accompany Ray Rice?

Miami doesn't need more RBs, it needs more O-linemen for their existing RBs to run behind.

I don't even like the idea of entertaining it as an option.

It took Miller a couple years to become decent, if he gets injured they are in big trouble at the position.  I hope Ajayi works out, but Miami has drafted RB's many times to have them go nowhere.  To your other point, sure Miami needs O-linemen, and if a good one becomes available I'd be all for it; but that doesn't have anything to do with kicking the tires on Rice.

Here is an interesting tidbit. I just went to NFL.com trying to see Rice's age. He has been completely removed from their stats section. He is not listed as a current or historical player.

As I've aged, I've learned that if you want to sign a guy with "a low contract with incentives", then you just shouldn't sign him.

What happened to my responses, were they deleted and if so... why?
