I dunno, Geno is trash and I was hoping he'd be the starter.

My thoughts:

1) Must have been one heck of a punch to injure a professional athlete like that

2) That guy who threw that punch probably cost himself more by being released than what he spent on the ticket

3) I wonder if it is possible to play football with a broken jaw lol.

4) Gonna be very interesting to see who they sign to replace him.

Lloyd Heilbrunn @LloydHeilbrunn
@davehydesports We need to sign Enemkpali, we went a whole game without anyone hitting Geno.....

Several years ago Lorenzo Bromell hit Peyton Manning and broke his jaw. Manning missed one play.

That was a hairline fracture though not nearly as serious as Geno's. I remember Kerry Collins missed a whole season after breaking his jaw in pre season years ago.

One time I broke my jaw after I knocked out a charging bull with my face, then ate a whole box of gobstoppers.  Geno is a puss.

Did you yell "Battle!" before he charged? Wink

Rex Ryan and the Bills just signed the LB who punched out Geno.

Total circus in Buffalo now. Rex back to his old games

Dunno how reliable this report is (http://finance.yahoo.com/news/details-emerging-fight-broke-geno-141939681.html) but if true, Geno kinda deserved it, but at the same time, he shouldn't have been punched. Looks like not many Jets players are actually backing up Geno in this.

Jets are probably a better team offensively with Fitzpatrick @ QB, worse on defense without Enemkpali.

He had 3 tackles all of last year and only played in 6 games and was 3rd string on their depth chart. He wasn't a lock make the team with the depth the Jets have on the front 7 and if he did make it he probably wouldn't have been active most weeks. Not sure how that makes them "worse" on defense

If a man owes you money and when you go to ask him for it, he refuses, sticks a finger in your face and says, "You ain't gonna do a goddamn thing about it," at that point there are really only three options:

1) back down and accept that your money is gone
2) take the other fellow to court
3) punch the other fellow in the mouth

I can't exactly blame IK.  Geno basically challenged him to a fight.

Reminds me of Liar Liar

Phishfan, was the play you are referring to the one in the 2001 game, where he was replaced by Mark Rypien, who fumbled the ball away, and the game turned in Miami's favor?
