Until that o-line is fixed (probably won't be this year) this offense will struggle. Even teams with a mediocre defense will have success against the Fins. A team like the Bills will eat the Dolphins alive

I'd cut the O-line a little slack since it was the first game the group actually played together in their respective positions.  BUT, they better get their act together very quickly because I watched the Buffalo game yesterday and their defense is nasty, lots of blitzes.  In two weeks they may be scrapping Tanny off the turf.

Very few teams if any can say they have 2 Pro Bowlers on their O-Line and a future one in RT James. Still, our O-Line is a wreck. It almost seems impossible.

I wouldn't say James is a "future pro bowler"....far from it. Nice player. Good player. Dependable player but nothing special. And if Albert doesn't return to the form with this knee injury (some guys are never the same) then he isn't a pro bowler anymore either. Time will tell with him for sure, but with James I don't see him as anything more than an above average right tackle.

The play of young guards also has been disappointing. According to Pro Football Focus, rookie right guard Jamil Douglas ranks 72nd and left guard Dallas Thomas ranks 74th among 84 guards. Douglas, through two games, has allowed seven quarterback hurries, fourth-most among guards.

Meanwhile, La'el Collins is getting more and more meaningful snaps at Guard for the Cowgirls.

Talk of moving Pouncey back to guard making the rounds tonight and putting in the back-up center again cause Douglas and Thomas are so bad!

They should've signed a Guard and Tackle after all the other teams cutdown to 53. There had to be better Tackles available than Fox.

Pouncey didn't do a great job at Guard last year, so this would be one step forward, one step back.

The Bills' d-line has been horrible so far this year. We're only two games in, so there's a huge "limited sample size" caveat, but they've stopped exactly 0% of all short yardage conversions (2 yards or less). They are 30th in the league in getting tackles for no gain or a loss. Clearly, their line hasn't gotten ANY push. They also aren't doing well in the pass rushing department, although of course pretty much anything is better than Miami.

The Bills would seem to be the PERFECT team to play with a weak offensive line.

Fearing the Jets, that I can understand. They've been absolutely dominant. 50% more sacks than the Bills on significantly fewer drop-backs and  they lead the league in runs stuffed.

With no Branden Albert I think most SEC and Big 10 teams would have success against the Fins o-line. Less about the Bills d-line. More to do with starting 3 garbage players in Fox, Thomas, Douglas. And another guy in James who has been horrible the first 2 games.

Fox, Thomas, Douglas, James and a backup center would be a dominant O-line in the college game .. they would very literally be unstoppable .. even against a team of SEC all-star d-lineman

Tannehill was pressured 44% of plays against Jax, expect that number to go up against Buffalo.... amazing because 44% is extremely high.
