Common sense prevails.  NFL shot down the idea as too expensive.

I like the idea. I watched a pre-season game with them and I thought the cameras were not the greatest quality for distance shots but maybe that is something that can be corrected. Anything that makes the game more error free in terms of rulings is a good thing.

It's about time they put cameras on the goal line. My reading comprehension might stink, but where did it say the NFL shot it down for being expensive? Or was that from something earlier I missed?
