It's for the best, get this false hope bullshit out of the way early on. A win today does us no good, just delays Philbin's firing. Start off 0-6, fire that useless asshole and start again. What good will 7-7 with 2 weeks left do us?

We have a really hard time facing reality for some reason.

This is what happens when you expect nothing less than a blowout.  We're losing 10-7 (on the road) in the third quarter of Week 1 and the season is already over.

The win was not convincing enough, we played poorly against a terrible team. Also, is there anyone left who thinks Philbin SHOULDN'T have been fired? This game had nothing to do with it.

My 8-8 prediction still stands, although it may just have been lowered to 7-9 with this horseshit performance.
