With the depth that they have on the D-Line and the fact that they are playing a weak team (although last week's weak team gave the Fins all they could handle), I would almost prefer that they sit Vernon and let him heal up rather than risk having him make the injury worse and miss games where they really need him.

Agreed. If they can't beat the Jaguars with one of their Linemen missing, then you got way more problems than an injury. I would rest Jones too. He is a bigger loss, but I honestly can't even name Jacksonville's QB. Probably starts with a B.

Just about anybody in Central Florida can help you there. It is Blake Bortles. He is born, raised, and college educated right here.

Vernon and Jones not expected to play Sunday as of today. Both appear to be out per reports

Shouldn't need it for the Jags anyway. More than enough talent on the Line and it's Blake Bortles. Use this game as conditioning for Albert and improvement for our Guards, let's hopefully not sweat this one out too.

Derrick Shelby unlikely to play Sunday. Cam Wake limited in practice today as well, his status uncertain .

No Dion Sims Sunday

No offense Edge but we still have to show up and play to get the win. They are still an NFL team and will beat some teams. It seems like you are taking this game for granted.

I'm not taking it for granted, I wouldn't be surprised if we lost. I am just looking at the talent on each roster and saying we should still win easily. Seems like we rarely do things like that, last week being a prime example, but in theory it should be a comfortable win.

In theory.

I don't think it's a good idea to "rest players" for "weak opponents."  Remember, this franchise has never beaten the Texans.

Jax and Miami played like crap last week. Both teams will be much improved this week, no doubt. If Jax is "healthier" combined with being at home....they can very easily win this game if Miami has a bunch of key guys out (which they do)

I certainly wouldn't put any money on the Fins this week, especially given the point spread.

Jonas Gray back on the Fins 53 man active roster. With the Miller injury and his status in doubt Gray might actually play this week
