You Heat fans need to get your guy in order. A traitor to the largest extent. How can you expect Dolphin fans to support you when you support their biggest rival?

I thought this was kinda gross when I saw it.

I'd be OK if he did this for the Bears of something, where he was from.  But he's gotta know that his city hates them...right?

Tom Brady wears a Yankees hat.

I don't see it as a big deal. Wade was probably friends with Marshall when Marshall was in Miami as a Dolphin.

Who would want to be friends with Brandon Marshall?

It's not a big deal at all.  It just sucks for HEAT fans that want to unconditionally support him.

I don't think you should ever consider unconditional support for anyone, especially athletes. Unconditional is a very strong word.

Seems pretty odd to me to be in the face of the very same people who support you. Like Bill Clinton wearing a Trump jersey and supporting him.

Tom Brady wears a Yankees hat.

And it doesn't bother me in the least.  He is a New England Patriot, that doesn't require loyalty to the red sox.

I don't see the comparison.  There are Heat fans that are Jets fans.  (Minority but they exist) And there are Knicks fans who are Dolphin fans.

As for your example, if Lauren Tannehill was to wear a Tom Brady jersey or Gisele Bündchen was to wear a Tannehill jersey that would be like Bill wearing a Trump shirt.

Probably not the best example but the same people he counts on for buying tickets more than likely hate the team he is supporting. It isn't like he just showed up. He was wearing their colors.

I don't know of a single person who gave up their Patriots tickets over Brady wearing a Yankee's hat.  If your fandom of the Heat is dependent on what other teams the players root for you are not much of a Heat fan.

I don't take what team someone else roots for personally.  I have friends that root for a variety of teams.  I actually think it is more fun to discuss sports with people who root for rival teams (can you tell?) than fans of the same team. Half my family root for the Sox the the other half Yankees -- and that makes baseball season fun.

To me, this isn't even Wade supporting the Jets... he's not wearing a random Jets-branded t-shirt, he's wearing the jersey of a friend that happens to play for the Jets.  If my friend was on an NFL team and invited me to a game, I'd wear his jersey no matter what team he played for.

Personally, I think it's even worse when phony players sport the gear of the teams in the city they are in.  You're telling me you prefer LeBron to shamelessly pander to you guys and sport Dolphins/Marlins gear while he is playing for Miami?  Watching 49er Alex Smith wear a SF Giants hat just screams insincerity to me; I doubt he was wearing Giants gear to the World Series last year.

If Dave Gray played for the Jets, I'd wear a Dolphins jersey that says "Dave Sux" on the back.
