I don't know where you are getting your info, but it's way off.

In '81, '85, and '86, the division didn't even come down to tiebreakers; NYJ finished a game behind the division winner in all of those years.  In 1985, the 11-5 Patriots played at the 11-5 Jets because the 12-4 Dolphins won the division.

The city of Baltimore has twice as many AFC East titles as the Jets.  Think about that.

Bills fall to 6-7 with today's loss and basically end their season. They probably need to win out and have several teams lose out to make the playoffs. Their defense fell off a cliff this season somehow, they are very undisciplined and Tyrod has more nicknames than any  QB should who can't complete simple passes. His QB Rating is insanely misleading. Iif he didn't have Watkins making great plays, his numbers would look worse.

Fuck 'em, let them join us in purgatory again during the draft.
