Two teams most of you hate.

If you have conceded the division but still hold out hope for a wildcard, than a NEP win would be in your best interest.  OTOH, if you feel the division is still possible than you want the Jets to win.  The '72 team is no doubt rooting for the Jets as other than Denver the Jets are probably the toughest team on NE's schedule.

To me the AFC Playoffs are already set. Both are going to the playoffs. If you look at the standings it's tough to see a team outside of the Top 6 teams currently breaking in to that mix. MAYBE San Diego if they get hot because they have had some hard luck loses, but that's it.

NE
Cincy
Denver
Indy
Pitt
NYJ

Who else in the AFC is breaking into that group. AND if the Jets win this week they all but lock up a playoff spot cause their schedule is scary easy here on out....Raiders, Jags, Texans, Titans, Bills TWICE

I was gonna say wish we had an easy schedule like the Jets, but we did and we just blew it.

Indy doesn't deserve to be a playoff team, but there's no other team in that division.  Denver is being propped up by the defense, but they have a good lead on SD so they will most likely win the division.  The team that can get bumped out of that group is the Jets.  Miami or SD can challenge for that last wild card spot.

Jets are at 4 wins. They have AT LEAST 6 gift wrapped wins for them. They will be at 10 wins without even trying. No team will get to 10 or 11. Not SD or Miami

Blew it meaning we lost to the Jags, got killed against a mediocre Buffalo time and got beat down by the Jets after barely escaping the Redskins.

The Jets really haven't proven they are a good team yet, mostly wins against easy teams.  The wins you think are gift wrapped, could easily turn into losses.

There entire schedule is easy teams. That's why they will get to 10 wins or more easily! Even if they get swept by NE and lose at Dallas....that's till 12-4, say they slip up TWICE vs lesser teams...not once TWICE, that's 10-6.

The Jets defense is good enough and at a level to totally SHUT DOWN teams like the Titans, Jags, Raiders, the Bills TWICE, and Houston. They aren't giving up a ton of points vs those teams so the offense just has to do "just enough" and they will win games easily.

This is how I see the rest of the Jets season going:

7 OCT 25 1:00PMEDT *  AT   PATRIOTS  L
8 NOV 1 4:05PMEST *  AT   RAIDERS W
9 NOV 8 1:00PMEST *    JAGUARS W
10 NOV 12 8:25PMEST ,    BILLS W
11 NOV 22 1:00PMEST *  AT   TEXANS W
12 NOV 29 1:00PMEST *    DOLPHINS L
13 DEC 6 1:00PMEST *  AT   GIANTS L
14 DEC 13 1:00PMEST *    TITANS W
15 DEC 19 8:25PMEST ,  AT   COWBOYS L
16 DEC 27 1:00PMEST *    PATRIOTS L
17 JAN 3 1:00PMEST *  AT   BILLS W

Which would put them at 10-6.  What I'm HOPING will happen is one of these up and coming QBs (Carr, Bortles, Mariotta) has a career day and plays the spoiler.  It's definitely not probable, but I'll still hold out a little hope.

If New England wins tomorrow, there is a possibility that comes week 17 Miami will be playing for the final wildcard spot and NEP will have already clinched.

Miami needs to win on Thursday and beat the reeling Bills in Week 9. Then, they are in the hunt. Never take anything for granted with Miami.

Pittsburgh lost Pouncey today...not a lock to make playoffs with all those injuries.

Jets have Fitzpatrick, who seems to always get worse as the season goes along, case in point today, going up the middle to Decker with 11 seconds left and no timeouts.

San Diego, a mess...defense horrible.

Fins win Thursday and we get in the drivers seat for that wild card birth...

Too bad a division winner is guaranteed a spot, because Indy are a disaster!

3 road games coming up, Fins MUST win 2 of the next 3 to seriously think about the playoffs
