The NFL committee formed to consider what teams could possibly move to L.A have recommended the Chargers/Raiders proposal for a joint stadium in Carson.  It seems like the most favored option would have been a Chargers/Rams deal, but these two teams didn't want anything to do with the others' proposal.  24 of the league's 32 owners must still vote to approve any move.

I think the NFL needs to set up a committee to investigate getting an NFL team into the 8th largest city in the country.

Just goes to show, money talks.  It will be interesting to see if the Chargers go in with the Rams, since the Chargers would be treated like the Clippers have been by the Lakers for so many years.

The committee recommended Chargers+Raiders moving to Carson, but they couldn't get the needed votes.   The Rams' owner already has land in Inglewood.  So they went with a hybrid plan of Rams+Chargers in Inglewood.  Raiders will receive money from the league towards a new stadium in Oakland.   Chargers have one year to finalize terms to exit San Diego and share the Inglewood stadium with the Rams, or they lose "dibs" and it'll be the Raiders joining the Rams.

This is the best possible outcome for me.  As I have mentioned before, prior to jumping over to the Dolphins in 1995, I was a lifelong Carolina Panthers LA Rams fan.  I am happy to see my old team go back to LA, and equally happy to see angry, bitter St. Louis Rams fans feel the taste of sweet justice.  Only one fanbase deserves it more!

Additionally, I have lots of friends in the Bay Area who are Raider fans, and I respect the Raider fanbase and think they have been through enough.

Personally, I don't care either way about the Rams as a franchise, and I'm not big supporter of St.Louis as a city.I know some nice people up there, and want to go to the Zoo.I do think it sucks 2 NFL franchises leaving in my lifetime.

The downsides for me...
- I was hoping to try to make it to the Dolphins/Rams this year.

- My local NFC team just became the Dallas Fucking Cowboys! Jerry Jones, being from this area bought up the rights to this area when he bought the team, then the Rams moved to St. Louis, they took over.I'd imagine those viewing rights are probably back to Dallas.
