Nothing has changed despite not having Brady, Gronk and much of the starting OL, NEP leads the AFCE.

Better to be lucky than good sometimes.  They had a lot of luck last night.  Good for them, 1-0 with half their team sitting half way across the country and the best QB in the world painting a super model's toes while the rest of the AFC East is looking up at them, again.

Shows how pathetic a division the AFC East is.

Jimmy G was very Brady-esque last night.  Play ok, but let the other team literally hand you the game.

Something sure has changed... Imagine if you had dropped a prop bet in Vegas on the 49ers having the largest margin of victory in week 1?

Yeah, I know, it was the Rams, and they might be one of the 2-3 teams that are actually worse than the 49ers...but still, that was a nice way to end the first week of the season.  Grin

Hopefully the Dolphins will do what the Patriots are doing on kickoffs.

Nothing has changed, but it's on you if you expected it to.

The Patriots are one of the NFL's premiere teams.  One player...two players, even -- doesn't change that.  They are well run, well-schemed, and have pretty good depth.  The Dolphins, Bills, and Jets are middle of the road.

There was nothing to suggest that the Pats wouldn't be the team to beat in our division and week one is just evidence to that point.  It doesn't mean they're unbeatable.

Not unbeatable,  but at the start of the season I considered that game the toughest of the four that NE would have to play without Brady.  And figure they need to start the season 2-2 to be able to be in decent shape for playoffs

The Patriots are showing us that they can stick anybody in at quarterback and win.

I'll take that bet. I'm with Baba Booey on this. It really doesn't matter who plays what position for them. They have a high probability for winning any game.

I am not optimistic about  Brissett, yeah he can beat the Dolphins by 7 in a half of a game if you spot him a 21 point lead.

But at the start of the season I figured if the Pats could go into week 5, with a 2-2 record and 1-1 in the division Brady should be able to lead them the rest of the way to another AFCE championship.
