Although I am usually hesitant to overvalue plays in the 4th quarter, my game ball for today goes to Kenyan Drake.  He had the KR TD MIA needed at the perfect time.

Honorable mention to Dominique Jones and Cameron Wake.

Fins D-line as a whole. Branch, Wake, Phillps, and Suh were unstoppable

Ajayi once again.  Without him you probably get beaten in this game.

I thought the Jets did a pretty good job stopping Ajayi until the final drive.  He had 67 yards (on 20 carries) prior to MIA's last possession, and finished with 111 on 24.

Right, but he and the line ground them down throughout the game, which then likely allowed Ajayi to put the nail in the coffin late, and which is theoretically when the Jets would've been most motivated to stop him (but couldn't).

And although the line has blocked extremely well the past three games and therefore deserves any "game ball" mention, I also believe that Ajayi's aggressive and impassioned running is largely responsible for the line's own aggressive and impassioned play.

You want to block hard for a guy who runs that way.

The impassioned "conference" you saw on the sideline between Branden Albert and Ajayi says it all.  These guys know if they block hard for Ajayi they have a chance to win lots of games in the league.

Has to be Drake - without that return the game may have been lost.

I also pick Drake.  The timing of his great play matters.

Drake. I had zero confidence we could've marched the ball down and scored.

HM to Vance Joseph. I really think he put together a great defensive plan, although Maxwell did what he could to botch it.

That Jordan Phillips interception... beautiful. Awesome play by Phillips, but also awesome call by Joseph to drop Phillips back into the slant passing lane.

Kind of hard imo. Drake's play was great but he also cost us a TD earlier. Phillips INT was awesome but he also extended a series with a dumb penalty in which the Jets scored. Ajayi ran well but was stuffed a bunch.

Mine goes to Suh. He's been strong most of the season and came up with some great pressures and a sack today.

Was that the one where he was called for roughing the passer and injured Fitzpatrick? That was a bad call, IMHO. He was shoved down by a lineman, resulting in a low hit on Fitzpatrick. Nothing he could do about that and shouldn't have been flagged.
