Ladies and Gentleman, it appears that the sleeping Giant is starting to awake in the Miami Dolphins! They have managed to win another game this time against the New York Jets! Yes, the Jets are not a great team! However, a win is a win! Now, if the entire team can continue to dominate on offense and defense without making stupid plays and costly penalties, they could be a solid playoff contender! Keep in mind that the Dolphins have a proven history of being inconsistent and crumbling towards the end of every season! It still remains to be seen if they can maintain a winning streak! For now it seems that the Dolphins Fans will take a win one game at a time! So the question is will the sleeping giant fully awake in the Miami Dolphins, or will it just roll over and continue to sleep? What will it be?

The Rams and SF totally suck. If Miami can get past SD next week they are legit looking at a 7 game winning streak

Right now with the exception of the Jets Jags and Brown every team in the AFC is within striking distance of a playoff spot.

The thing with 4-4 teams is that while they can certainly beat bad teams, it's not shocking when they don't. I mean, we just barely beat a terrible Jets team at home. It wouldn't be surprising if we can't beat the Niners even though they suck.

I'll be cheering for them though, the whole early round draft pick is gone, might as well surprise a lot of people and sneak into the playoffs. Have some pride in this team for once.

Agreed.  I am enjoying this little winning streak mostly because there has been so little to be happy about in what seems like ages.  But I'm not going to get ahead of myself.  This is still the same team that had to go to overtime to beat the hapless Browns.  And even that win was because of the Browns ineptitude.

Miami's strong suit is running the ball. San Francisco is historically inept at stopping the run. "Historically," in that sentence, is not hubris...it's statistical fact. It would not only be surprising if SF won, it would be downright shocking...

Almost the entire schedule is bad or mediocre teams, the only three games out of 16 are vs winning teams, Patriots and Seahawks.

I don't think we should get too high or too low about any of this.

We are middle of the road.  We are beating other middle of the road (or worse) teams right now.  That's good, but I don't think you can extrapolate that out.

We should've beaten the Jets by more than we did, but beat a team than we're better than by 4 at home...kinda to be expected.

I think we'll likely lose to San Diego, unfortunately, SF is uniquely bad so you have to beat them up, but the Rams...don't sleep on them.  They are a middling team like we are.  Beating the Rams will be a quality win for us.

Roll over and continue to sleep?  A team on a three-game win streak is "sleeping"?

I agree with you about getting too high right now but we have beaten all but 1 of the teams we were supposed to and one we weren't. If we just continue to compete and winning the games we are supposed to I'll get excited about next year.
