The 49ers dared Tannehill to beat them with his arm, and he did it with three starting linemen missing.

Tanny

Alonso

Honorable mention to Maxwell for deflecting the pass on that crossing route.

Tannehill.

Alonso had a really bad game except for the 3-4 highlight reel plays. IMHO, Alonso is an extremely frustrating player. He makes some insanely great plays and has a ball awareness that's second to none, but he also overpursues, takes bad angles, and misses tackles.

If you're picking a player, it's probably got to be Tannehill, but I was to give special consideration to the offensive line (coach, I guess).  They weren't stellar, but they were stellar for them.  Considering how bad they'd been, to play fairly well enough to score 31 and protect the QB to allow him to do his thing is VERY meaningful and certainly praiseworthy.

I find it laughable that they were criticized in the Shame of the Game thread.

Agreed.  Three starters on the OL, all on the left side are not in the game, and they kept Tannehill upright for the most part.  Can't give a SotG there, even if they couldn't establish a run game.

Game ball goes to me, for being a lifelong 49ers fan and still cheering for Miami to win this weekend.
