I really wonder if he asked to be fired so he wouldn't get THEE record?

Jeff Fisher quote from Hard Knocks, “Little things are important, you follow me?” Fisher said. “I am not f---ing going 7-9 or 8-8 or 9-7, OK? Or 10-6 for that matter. This team is too talented. I am not going to settle for that, OK? I know what I am doing. We had some 7-9 bulls--- this morning. Now, Deon’s gone. That is 7-9 bulls---. We don’t need it."

Sure looks like that team could use a little 7-9.

Report this morning that LA will trade for Ron Rivera as he is #1 on their list and they are willing to give up something to get him. Probably players since they don't have many picks this year

^^^ I would say Marvin Lewis.  He's a good coach, but just hasn't been able to make it over the final hurdles, and they had a bad season this year.  Time for new blood.

They will never fire him. He works cheap and the owner is cheap. The owner loves him. The owner is lazy and knows he is tough to work for and can't get good candidates. Marvin Lewis is going to retire off that job and the owner has no problem with that.

Next coach to get fired will be Mike McCoy in San Diego

Making the playoffs is a "successful season" in Cincinnati.
Marvin Lewis is the best coach they've had since Paul Brown.
