Game Balls - Saints

Suh. Being a DT, he doesn't get big stats, but the dude dominates his man and often double team blockers like a boss.  And the 15 yard roughing the passer penalty was a joke.

The defense as a whole was not bad at all.  You can't keep them on the field for 80% of the clock and expect much and they kept an explosive Saints offense pretty much under control.

I like Reshad Jones on defense. Seems like he always comes to play.

Has to be Suh, he actually gave a shit all day and gave the Saints offensive line massive headaches too.

Jones had a few great plays but also missed a couple of crucial tackles, so I could not give it to him.

Jones and Suh played well.  Also I thought Tankersley did well considering it was his first start and Brees picked on him knowing that.

I'm going to toss this out there an an admin to kind of reiterate the point of this thread:  It's not the anti-fins, this isn't the forum to trash the team.  There is a whole thread available to trash the team.  Go to, have fun.  Everyone can see Miami is not having a good go of it right now; no one is expecting anyone to wear rose colored glasses about this team.  However please do not start a thread about the positive aspects within a game such a "game balls" and take shots at the team.  If you're going to do that, don't start the thread at all (I mean, what's the point) - or do it in the anti-fin chat.  There were players worthy of discussion within this realm.

I just wanted to include an explanation for my selection.

If I had just said, the ball boys, would all of you have gotten the meaning?

I used to pick the kicker by default, but I can't do that in a shutout loss.
