It's finally here so how do you feel about this first game. Looking like Devante Parker is going to be out the first week so Jakeem Grant will be playing. Otherwise we should be at "heathy" strength.

We typically have a slow starting offense and I fear Derrick Henry will run wild against us as their O-line is pretty good. Hate to say it but I think we drop this 31-17.

I see a close win at home against the Titans... 27-23, Miami

I'm wondering why we kept Parker and cut Ford. Parker has had enough time to prove himself. I read that Ford looked really good in training camp.

^ I agree...SMH....Shrugs Shoulders.... Angry Yeah....Parker... Angry Especially because "we" liked him enough to IR him (a 7th round draft pick)last year as an rather than dump him,and bring him back when he was healthy.

31-28 OT Dolphins win  Huh...In a Zero confidence,no reason other than...I want to be positive it's a rare home opener on the 1st game of the season...I have no good/logical reason to think we'll win....

That's a head scratcher because even former players were raving about his ability to make adjustments to catch passes.  He's skinny so maybe they think he's too small but then again ... Parker is big and he's always hurt! Crazy freally. He's on the practice squad so who knows how this season turns out.

I just realized we have no QB on our practice squad. As I predicted when Gase refused to make a call on the two back-ups ... one of them is going to have to run the scout team. How often does that happen?  Undecided

We also just claimed Luke Falk from the Titans in all the hub-bub of cuts, and practice squads (Sept. 2)...So we have 3 QB's on the roster currently..I'm sure Falk is doing a pretty good job running the scout team... Cheesy

I forgot about him. He will probably drop to the practice squad after we play Tenn. Since Miami was looking at him when they took him it's nice to see him go to us anyway.

Jakeem Grant is still in concussion protocol so he is still up in the air.

Do we have 4 on the roster or did Osweiler or Fales get cut?

I gotta believe there's something going on here that we don't know about. I can't believe that Gase actually believes that we have 4 QB's good enough to be on a roster. Somehow he's trying to stash at least 1 QB on the roster to get him to the practice squad or PUP or something so that no one else can get them. Maybe there are some rules about when you put in a waiver for a guy he has to be put on the 53 man roster for a certain amount of time or something?

Original topic derailed in just under 2 hours, great  Roll Eyes

The final score will be 17-13, and after the coin toss, it's the Titans winning on a late FG.

31-10 Miami.  Offense comes out hot, Defense bends because it's gouged by the run, but doesn't break.  This takes the run game away from the Titans so they have to play catch up.

Players of the game - Drake on offense, Howard on defense
