My position has always been that if we are 2-10, you should put salt in your eyes if you root for us to win the last 4 games.

It is one thing to root against your team late in the season once they are mathematically eliminated from making the playoffs, it is an entirely different matter to do so when they are 0-0.

I just can’t not want my team to win, regardless of the time of season. Hoping for your team to lose is antithetical to being a fan.

Nicely said, I feel the same way.

I strongly believe Miami will take Lock this year @ #13, and let him sit for a year behind Fitz.

Wouldn't be the worst pick in the world.

I don't like Lock, he doesn't have a strong arm.

I don't know where you're getting that from, the scouting reports I've read all say he has a cannon for an arm.

Yeah my bad, I read that on Daniel Jones, which also isn't true so I don't know where I saw that, probably Reddit.

I have watched this team be shit for almost the entire last decade and one of the main reasons for that is consistent mediocre records that keep us out of the playoffs but also out of the Top 5 in drafting.

Since we are going to be really bad this year, there is no point in hoping we pull out 5-6 wins. If we start off 6-0 somehow? Awesome, now I'm on board with winning every game. Start the year 1-5? Lose every last game. If we don't secure that #1 pick, Tua will be gone and we got some stiff competition this year with the Giants.

I'd like Ryan Fitzpatrick to lead us to an undefeated season and a super bowl win ..
how about we start there

While I am not rooting that way, I respect that stance......Tank for Tua....not so much.

Same, although the pathway to the Superbowl is realistically not through Ryan Fitzpatrick. It is through being absolute shit in 2019, getting a franchise QB in the draft and building a contender with our 2020 cap space and draft haul. So, I am putting my fandom on the more likely scenario of tanking and drafting rather than Fitzmagic. Another 5-11 season would be devastating for this franchise.

"[Jackson] Got my hands on Ryan Fitzpatrick contract. Dolphins guaranteed $1.5 M of $5.5 M base salary in 2020. Dolphins could move on if they want to after 2019, but no reason to unless he's unspeakably bad this season"
