I kind of find it funny that Omar gives us 5 wins when everyone else is picking less. He's usually the naysayer.
Omar Kelly, Dolphins Columnist: 5-11

The Dolphins purged their roster this offseason to become a younger team with a cheaper payroll, and that typically accompanies a losing season. Don’t expect much from this team in Year 1 of coach Brian Flores’ reign.

With that said .... I say we win 3 games this year but with our luck it will probably be mediocre 8-8.

I had said 6 earlier, but that was before they got rid of Tunsil, Alonso and Stills. I'll change my prediction to 5, but it's soft 5 now. Maybe more realistic to say 4.

I'm putting myself down for 3-13. It will be a long year without a semblance of a professional offensive line. The team will set a record for sacks allowed, the running backs will have nowhere to run without blocking, and a decent defense will run out of steam following all the three and outs. The team punter will have a sore leg from overuse.

It will be a long year. Hoping they know what to do with all those draft picks, and maybe a few of the kids, like Dieter, Wilkins, and Preston Williams, will develop into good pros.

With the lack of talent on the roster I can't see us doing better than 4-12 this year....

If we get off to a really bad start, we could easily spiral to as bad as 1-15 - If that's the case I would rather us go 0-16, I would win money on a bet I placed this week that a team would go winless in 2020 (most likely us).

Ps. If we do go winless, would Flores survive?

Unfortunately, I have us going 3-13 due to Fitzpatrick having one of his patented 450 yard games that steals a win in a shootout. Rosen gets the other two against our worst opponents.

I would prefer 1-15 but we have a good secondary and a lot of players auditioning for next season so we will win a small handful. I just hope that's enough to get the #1 pick.

According to ESPN after 20,000 simulations. We're going 8-8 and lose the division to the Patriots in Week 17. And also the Saints win the Superbowl. Hopefully neither of these terrible predictions come true.

There is a better argument for 0-16 than there is for 8-8. I don't think we are more talented than any team in the NFL except maybe the Cardinals and their rookie QB. I just assume 3 wins because it's the NFL and things happen.

I am surprized Jones is still on the list, and still expect him to be traded or cut before seasons end. Take him out of that secondary and it becomes a lot more shaky.

Brady for one will have a field day, as Jones & Howard are the only guys in that bunch he is wary of.

If we go 8-8 they should rename the coach of the year award to the Brian Flores award

Inaccurate. ESPN's 20,000 simulations have the Dolphins with 5 wins.

The 8 wins is from ONE simulation run that they arbitrarily picked to show scores of every game.

I have absolutely no clue.  Seasons when I thought Miami was devoid of talent and should have won a one or two games they pulled off close to .500 seasons.  Seasons where I thought they had the talent to compete for a wildcard they couldn't get anything going at all.

This actually speaks as much to the rest of the NFL as it does Miami.  Just when you think "damn, my team is the worst...no one can touch us in this area."  Another city comes along and says "hold my beer."

Based on how bad a lot of the rest of the league is, and how whacked out some game days can be, I can see Miami being anywhere from 1-15 to 10-6.
