Will Eli be a Hall of Famer?

I'm not one of those people, Zach is a HoF player and it's a shame he didn't get in.

Agreed with Zach should be getting in.  Eli is going to get in though I truly don't believe he is a HOFer

My three things for HOF:
1. Did you play at a high level
2. Did you play at a high level for a long period of time
3. You being on the field, off the field, made a difference in the outcomes of games

Winning SB's is nice, and has to be factored in, but NYG beating the Patriots on a flukey catch by someone who made 4 catches all season, and then beating them again after Brady overshot Welker on a deep out, does not make you a HOF.  I would say his NYG team's DEFENSE were the difference in those games

Plus, the dude was .500 in overall winning.

For the record, I don't believe Bob Griese is a HOF QB

You don't believe that Manning did all 3 of those things? I don't think you have really be paying much attention to his career then. I'm not Eli fan, but he did all those things without question.

Eli was very inconsistent.  Some years he was a top 5 QB other years he just sucked. 

He was never the best QB in the league. 

If he gets in it will because of the reasons spider mentioned “fame” Largest market, twice being on the winning side against the dynasty that is NE, as opposed to “greatness “.

I think that's a bit of an over simplification. Some years he was really good, some years just pretty good and a couple he was bad especially early in his career, but overall he was pretty good.

He was never the best QB in the league.  

For a whole season probably not but he had 2 playoff runs where I think you could argue he was the best QB in the playoffs those 2 years. You're not giving him his due, but you're not alone. I understand your argument, I just don't agree with it.

Like Deion Sanders said,  They elect who they want and anybody in the HOF these days  Case, why Urlacher is in instead of Zach Thomas who had a better career minus a SB
