That's a loaded fucking question.
Do you think the decision to eliminate the pandemic response team is not relevant to this discussion?  Or is that another "loaded question"?

Can you even acknowledge that disbanding the pandemic response team was a huge mistake, or is that too painful to admit?

This is January 2020, not January 2017.  At best, you are arguing that Trump and Obama sha responsibility for the lack of masks, since Trump had over three years to do something about it if he thought it was a problem.  Instead, he chose to disband the pandemic response team.

But one thing that would definitely be different with a Democrat in office is that the Defense Production Act world have been invoked to produce needed supplies long ago.  It's ridiculous to complain about a shortage of masks when, to this day, Trump still doesn't think producing masks is worth invoking the Act.
