Tebow went there. Being a Christian is about being the example and no one needs a great example better than New York. OK ... maybe San Fran. I just read an article that they are dumping Abraham Lincoln from their school district because he didn't demonstrate black lives matter to him. Lot's of crazies or "woke" people out there. hahaha

Tebow was forced to go there via trade, one of the worst trades I've ever seen because they spent a 3rd rounder to get him and then refused to play him and yes, San Fran will swim in the Lake of Fire one day.

^^^  Tebow was at Florida for four years...I wonder how many backwards-ass redneck racist fucks he brought into the light of Jesus while he was here?

A whole bunch as a matter of fact. Unfortunately he wasn't able to get through to Aaron Hernandez.

I know he enjoyed spending time circumcising third world weiners...never heard much about his crusade against racism.

I read this same article.  I agree that it is dumb, however, the article is so full of bullshit, even contradicting itself.

There is a renaming committee for school names (because half of them are named after pretty shitty people, historically).  Their criteria is about oppressors.  Lincoln was called out for treatment of Native Americans (not BLM) -- whether or not they'll actually go through with it, who knows.

I hate the Daily Mail.  It's such a rag.  Even when they have the right story, they still fuck it up with lies and bullshit to make a larger point.

It is a reason although Snopes pretends it wasn't (and uses the literal "BLM' as an example that wasn't used) because well .. they are paid by liberals.  Jeremiah Jeffries, the chair of San Francisco Unified School District’s School Names Advisory Committee. He was quoted by the San Francisco Chronicle in a Dec. 14, 2020, article on the subject with the following remark: “Lincoln, like the presidents before him and most after, did not show through policy or rhetoric that Black lives ever mattered to them outside of human capital and as casualties of wealth building.”

The Jets scare the piss out of me.  They really do.

1:  I don't think the clock is going to reach 00:00 on their final game and the entire coaching staff and front off will be gone.  Who they bring in, who knows?  But they could get very luck and wind up with talent in the coaching ranks (we did) and front office (again, we did).

2:  The Jets have a RIDICULOUS amount of money to spend next year, 56.6 million (and that is if the cap doesn't change).

3:  The Jets have TWO first round picks.  The overall #1, and then Seattle's (most likely low 20's).  2nd round, two thirds, 4, 5, 7.  Total of nine picks in the upcoming draft.

4:  They haven't been awful this year, even with that lunatic Gase coaching them.  In today's NFL if you keep a game to 14 or so, you're doing pretty well, NFL scores get ridiculous and fast.  These were all winnable games:

Buffalo (ten point loss), Broncos (nine point loss), Bills (eight point loss), Pats (three point loss), Chargers (six point loss), Raiders (three point loss).

It's bad enough we had to deal with the Pats for so long in our division and now Buffalo looks like they may actually be good.  Don't sleep on the Jets, or anyone wanting to go there.  I'm not thrilled, looking at this team long term.

The Jets will get a good coach because almost everyone will want to coach Lawrence. With all the money they have that job will be well sought after.

Jets are up 13-0 over the Rams late in the 2nd quarter. Plenty of game left but.......my God. Can you imagine if these clowns win a game and screw up their franchise for years to come? The Jags own the SOS tiebreaker so they would need Jacksonville to win one more game if they want Lawrence.

I imagine Trevor would prefer Jacksonville, even though they are also a terrible franchise. At least the weather is warmer and the media isn't a joke.

JETS WIN! JETS WIN! JETS WIN!

Lawrence going to the Jags barring mind numbing stupidity on their part.

I live in NY and I'm having Jets fans basically crying to me right now about how this might be the moment they just walk away from the franchise. I wouldn't even blame them.

Now you can laugh at the Jets.  Twitter is trolling them HARD tonight.   They won but they lost

Now the question is do you root for the Jags to beat the Colts in week 17? Might be the only way the Dolphins make the playoffs. If it comes to that, I will be rooting for the Jags. I'm not worried about the Jets selecting Lawrence. Takes more than a QB to make a team relevant.

This is what I as talking about last year when we kept winning. Meaningless wins at the end of the year to prevent you from drafting a Franchise QB are awful. In our case, we lucked out due to tiebreakers and still got our guy, but what if we had to pick 8th or 9th? Where the hell would we be?

The Jets are about to lose out on a QB that can be a Hall of Famer and their backup choice can be great or can be a huge bust. Was this one win worth it?

Let's see where we are when the time comes, although I would be shocked if the Jags won another game or ownership even let them try. May infect them all with Covid on purpose so they have to forfeit.

Can Adam Gase do anything correctly?

I mean, he had Gore run over 20 times despite never getting more than 2 yards at a time. He seemed to do his best, the Rams were just ridiculous.

That being said, I don't see him working in the league until 2022. Even then, something small like WRs Coach.
