That was a little surprising to me considering that I assumed he was doing management's bidding for them when he seemingly tanked in their last game by putting in the 3rd string QB in order to get a better draft position.

You assumed wrong.  Management did not want Pederson to tank that game.  And that led to a bitter falling out between them.

I could very well be wrong.  I admittedly didn't delve too deep on the topic and was basing my comment just on face value of what I saw on tv.  Did you see something that documented that Management didn't want Pederson to tank the game?

I didn't understand why people made such a big deal about the Eagles tanking.  Other teams have done that before.  This is football.  It's every team for themselves.
