He was drinking and is the cause of the crash. He will be charged with a DUI and very likely whatever the crime is that resulted in the woman's death. Vehicular manslaughter I believe. Faces a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 20. His career might be over.

The number 12 overall draft pick in 2020.  What a dumbazz.

I have no sympathy whatsoever for drunk drivers. Just an incredibly selfish and dangerous thing to do, especially when you are rich enough to afford your own driver.

3:40 am Tuesday morning, what time does he have to be at practice on Tuesday?  As my late Mother would always say, "nothing good happens after midnight"

With many team Tuesday is the day off.  I am guessing that is the case of LV.

Wasn't there another player that killed someone in a DUI (maybe ten years ago?) and continued playing in the NFL?

edit: Yeah, it was Donte Stallworth.  Killed a pedestrian while DUI, received a 30-day jail sentence and served 24 days.  Goodell suspended him for 1 year.

The Dolphins will probably trade their 2022 First Round pick to the Raiders for Ruggs.    Angry

He also paid the family of the person he killed about $4.5 million.   Ruggs better hope he receives a similar deal.

Why the fuck didn't he Uber it home??   This is fucking Vegas.  There are Uber call boxes on every street corner.   What the fuck was he thinking??

You don't buy a high-powered sportscar to take Uber.
Like every other drunk driver, he thought he was fine and could handle his liquor.

The Raiders didn't waste any time.   Looks bad for Ruggs.   Last time this happened to someone, that player ended up with life without parole and dying in prison.

Wow, good for them. I'm sure their legal team told them he was done and allowed them to do so but still.

Huh? It happened to Donte Stallworth in 2009 and he served less than a month in jail.

I was referring to being released within hours of committing a serious crime.   And the last person that happened to was Aaron Hernandez in 2013.

Watson and Ruggs are going to make it really tough on the prison guards in that football game.

Murdering someone in cold blood =/= DUI manslaughter
