I spoke with a couple of friends in Ft Myers shortly before it hit, and they were getting pounded by rain at that point. Hope the worst of it missed all of you Floridians...

It hit furthur down south and then moved east so that helped us out tremendously. It was suppsed to hit Tampa and track west of us which would have put us on the bad side. As it is we suffered no damage and just over 8 1/2" of rain as it was a Cat 1 passing by us. Fortunately I'm high and dry and the rain had no effect on my property although the horse, donkeys, and chickens could have done without all that wind ... hahaha.

Everything good here. Kept power and didn't take any water. Was back to work today.
