word around the block is that Vic Fangio is the speculation for our new DC

Offer him the moon. Truth is, it's a pretty desirable job on the market. Lots of talent on that side of the ball, and even if you're not great the defense will get better just because so many players are coming back healthy. I don't think we will have issues getting who we want, as long as they are available. Ross will spend, that's the one good thing about him.

Fangio would be a great choice. Honestly his failures in Denver wasn’t even so much him as it was Elway and Company being unable to find a QB and drafting terrible ones every year.

Fangio is being connected to every opening there is from anywhere Payton goes to the Falcons where he interviewed already and others like Arizona & Carolina. I would have thought we'd have hd someone already if we were dumping Josh just beacuse.

We requested to interview Sean Desai, assistant DC for Seattle. He mentored under Vic Fangio. presumably our other choice for DC.

We would be best served making up our minds quickly as Fangio is wanted by a lot of teams and even Sean Payton wants him for wherever he lands this offseason.

We want Fangio, but that doesn't mean we'll get Fangio .. it's prudent to interview others in the style we want

Allegedly, the meeting we had with Fangio today was very far along and we might've even discussed terms. McDaniels wants him and Ross is not shy about spending, so I think things are looking good. It's a good landing spot for any DC, got a ton of talent coming back from injury and some good talent who didn't get injured. Team is built for a title right now too, no waiting.

^^^^ I'm not sure how that works in this day and age. They still had to interview minorities and after last year you know they can't let it get out that they have already selected their number one choice who just so happens to be white.

I really hope Flores gets the job in Arizona and can't wait to see his staff. He complained a whole lot about the lack of hiring minorites yet he hired two defensive coordinators and four offensive coordinators and all where white.

Forgot about that. I'm sure Miami will do what lots of teams do; make up their mind on who they really want and then go looking for a black candidate to give a sham interview to so they don't get fined.
