THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: August 10, 2023, 12:15:34 pm »

Have we had four?

I've only known of three

Bates = went 3-4 after and an 1-8 start.  The losses were close.  He defeated BB and the Patriots in a game that was still important for them at the time, (though it turned out to be unimportant)

Bowles = went 2-1, and blew a 17-0 lead to the Patriots

Campbell = first head coach to defeat the Houston Texans.  Also beat the Patriots and cost them the number one seed

I think those are the only ones we've had.

Shula coached for so long and then we went to some big name guys all in a row.

I think all three of these guys were generally viewed as favorable.

The three the OP named are the only ones this team has had.   And honestly, there's such a small sample size for the Mount Rushmore and the Mount Trashmore that you really can't do much of anything with it.
