Aren't there better odds of picking up two yards on a play than kicking a 55 yard field goal?

Two weeks in a row the bobbled snap has nearly cost Miami the game.

If the Patriots get that first down, there is no doubt in my mind that they score that touchdown.

The first down doesn't win you the game, though.

The Patriots had trouble converting all day.  They couldn't even get a first down, what makes you think they would be able to drive down and get a TD?  In addition, they had a lot of drives that were extended through bailouts or the skin of their teeth.

We beat the Patriots badly.  We made a lot of mistakes, left points out a few times, and we still won by a TD and led for 2 scores pretty much the entire night.  The Patriots offense is bad.  You should have doubts in your mind about guaranteed scores from them.
