Miami gets their only home game of the season, or it seems, this weekend.  Denver comes to town before Miami takes off for another roadie in Buffalo.

For all the hate Wilson is getting, he isn't playing awful. He posted a 108 rating against Vegas, throwing two TDs and no picks in a very economical game.  Last weekend he was consistent with the first with a 107.3 rating, three scores, and over 300 yards.  Denver is running the ball pretty well, as well, at a 4.8 per yard clip.  All these stats are great, except they also didn't amount to wins with Denver starting 0-2.

Denver's defense has allowed 52 points in the first two weeks and they have allowed 649 total yards.  This doesn't bode well for them on the road against Miami.  466 of those yards are in the air.  They aren't getting after the QB well (four sacks) and Miami's line has played surprisingly well.

I personally don't see Denver getting their first dub this weekend, Miami's offense is going to be too much for their defense to handle.  I also think week one was a bit of a blip for Miami's defense, I expect them to continue to get better.  Miami's going to put up a lot of points this week, and finally make one look a little easier before heading north again.

Miami 34 - 17.

This game should be a walkover.   Miami's offense should score early and often.  How big the margin of victory is all depends on if Waddle can come back from concussion protocol

With Waddle-  Dolphins 41  Broncos 14

Without Waddle- Dolphins 31  Broncos 20

Brian and I played Madden last night and the Dolphins won by 3.  They coulld've maybe won by 7, but they got cute at the goal line and couldn't punch it in, but then ran a bunch of clock anyway, so maybe it worked out.  Dolphins D played really well against the run but couldn't defend on 3rd down....got worked all day.  ...including some huge scrambles by Wilson, even though he coughed up a fumble by not sliding.  Offensively, Tua noodle-armed two long interceptions but threw short and middle pretty well.

Madden also has a few players incorrectly rated (Tua being one of them). He should be higher than an 85.  They have his strength as a 61, which is laughable.

Miami:   23
Denver: 13

The defense shows up...and shows out, while the Tua-Hill train keeps a'rolling down the tracks.

I saw an early power rankings this past week that had SF #1 and Miami #2. I know, I know...it's early, but that put a big ol' smile on my face.

Maybe early for this type of statment...and certainly not on subject, so I'm breaking forum rules a bit.  But how TF does anyone defend SF this year?  So many weapons.

I played the last year's version.  Tua was rated low on the long ball.  I didn't believe it so I tested it out and was proven wrong on more than one occasion.

This could easily be a trap game but I'm hoping the last season skid is too fresh for that to happen.

Miami 42
Denver 24

34-21 Miami

Russ hangs tough early and  keeps pace before Miami tightens up on D and they can’t keep up.

Denver has a lot of reasons to want this and so does McD with Denver connections. Potential for a trap but Miami plays a good 4 quarters.

With a couple pick 6's by the defense.
