Their top draft pick, Michigan QB JJ McCarthy, is out for the season with a fully torn meniscus. As of right now, Sam Darnold is their top QB. With Detroit and Green Bay coming off playoff seasons, and Chicago looking much improved, it's quite possible they could be looking at a high draft pick in 2025.
As a diehard FFL idiot, this news tells me two things:
1) Don't overspend on Justin Jefferson in redraft leagues this season
2) In my 20-team dynasty league (which is desperate for young QB talent), I won't need to use my early first rounder in our annual rookie draft...he might slide to my second first rounder at #12.
I can work with this.
