A lot of camp bodies there - for me the biggest names to come out of that list were:

QB Mike White
RB Salvon Ahmed

We knew both of these and the reasons why, I'd be surprised if anyone was surprised they got the bullet.

RB Chris Brooks

A little bit of a surprise - he seemed to show promise in the last couple of preseasons and in a relief role, but the injuries mounted up, and the decision was made.

WR Erik Ezukanma

He just never seemed to do enough to move on from his raw potential, and time ran out.

CB Nik Needham

They toyed with the idea of moving him to safety after that horrific injury, but it seems it was too much to overcome.

Plus the RB room is already loaded. He'll have a chance to catch on somewhere else. Maybe Dallas who has one of the weakest RB rooms in the NFL in my opinion.

Bayron Matos, Erik Ezukanma, Jordan Colbert, Jonathan Harris, Chasen Hines, Dequan Jackson, Isaiah Johnson, Anthony McFarland Jr. & Hayden Rucci have also all landed on the practise squad, along with new additions QB Tim Boyle and WR D'Wayne Eskridge.

One of the interesting guys who did make the final 53 man roster was C Andrew Meyer :

His highlight package from this preseason looked very, very good - it reminded me of Mark Stepnoski of the Cowboys during their 1990s dynasty. Low center of gravity, very quick and decisive.

I think we may have found a gem in the rough, and can hopefully forget the thought of Eichenberg ever starting as our Center again.
