It's Interesting.

The Manager of the Yankees is Aaron Boone, the hero of the 2003 ALCS

The Manager of the Dodgers is Dave Roberts, the hero of the 2004 ALCS

Both of these players became heroes while coming off the bench.

Boone is trying to lead a 3-0 comeback, which the Red Sox DID to the Yankees in 2004.  Oddly, Boone missed that entire season due to an injury in a basketball game.

The way he handled Game 1 and Game 5, I'd have to say that if George were still alive and in control, Boone would no longer have a job.   He really fucked those games up.
