Tua

Edit:  What happened on the fake punt?  I saw the replay and looked like a fumble and Miami recovered it.  However, I didn't get to see all the angles?  Was the runner ruled down?

There isn't any doubt it's Tua.  It's so perplexing that he goes from an all-pro game against the Jets to such a horrendous game the following week.

Gotta be Tua.  He had an off game.  He just wasn't reading what the defense was hiding, resulting in 2 bad picks.  And then he didn't hold on to the ball during the sack.  The last INT isn't as big a deal.  But he's been so good for us that when he doesn't play well, everything falls apart.

HM, in general, to how bad our line is, in terms of getting actual push.  They can block ok when the play is designed to get rid of the ball quick, but in terms of actual push to advance the line of scrimmage; forget about it.  It was especially apparent as you saw how much time Stroud was able to get on similar types of plays.

To be fair to Tua and the offense, I looked up Houston's defensive ranking and they were #5 overall coming into the game.  That probably has something to do with their opponents, but still they are pretty good on defense.  Oddly the Jets are at #4.  FWIW Miami was at #9.

Yes, his elbow hit the ground before the ball came out, so what was initially ruled a fumble was correctly changed to being down by contact.

Tua had a shocker and clearly gets it today. One of those picks would have been a pick-6 if it wasn't for Achane running it down, and he could easily have had another INT in the second quarter which was dropped by the defender. The head first dive was idiotic, as was holding on to the ball for so long before the sack-fumble.

Special teams have to get a dishonorable mention again for missing the fake punt (and Campbell committing a stupid personal foul after the event knocking off an opponents helmet after the play) and missed PAT.

I also have to mention our bend but don't break defense that broke twice on zone coverage resulting in Nico Collins's TD's. Both times Ramsey left him to Poyer (and may as well left him to fresh air to guard him). You would think they may have learnt something after the first time, but apparently not.

Tua for sure.  If he played like he played last week against the Jets, the Dolphins win easily.
