Hopefully Anthony Weaver gets hired elsewhere too. As long as Ross is in control we do not deserve him.
His performance today didn't help his chances to become a head coach.  The defense absolutely folded in the 4th quarter.

No one cares. the Dolphins defense still overperformed with the lack of talent talent they had. Crazy to be ranked so high with so few sacks and turnovers.

Back to Tyreek .... the talking heads are saying he will back track and say its not what he meant. Drew Rosenhaus refused to comment on it last night.

But wait, he really didn't want to leave after the last time he said he wanted to leave.

I wouldn't be one but surprised if Tyreek is on the roster next year.
I also would understand if we traded him.  Such is life.

I wouldn't give a sweetheart deal, though.  Someone would have to take his contract and reward us with picks.  Short of that, I'd make him retire.  I think he's full of crap and likes the limelight too much and likes big houses and nice things and lots of kids -- that's an expensive lifestyle, so I'd call his bluff.

"Tyreek Hill's apparent refusal to play could trigger a contract showdown in Miami, with millions in guarantees potentially voided and millions in previously paid bonuses potentially forfeited."

Potentially having to pay us back millions (or the same to lawyers) may change his mind if this has any traction... mind you, after this season, I'm not sure I really want him back.

Yeah I think their 4th quarter fold was more about looking at the scoreboard and seeing the Bronco's up 31-0, and realizing the season was over.  Not to mention the offense had already doomed them with turnovers.

Let Tyreek go, get a 2nd or 3rd round pick for him and let's get over his drama.  Miami needs to do a mini re-build anyways, they have too much salary and need too many players to be a playoff threat.

The latest on Tyreek, including some of his teammates' comments after his post-game comments were brought up.

It also suggests what we get in the way of picks from a potential trade partner is likely to be on the low side using the Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans last April as a comparison (Buffalo got a second-round draft pick for Diggs, but also gave up fourth and fifth-round picks as part of the deal).

He's been requested to interview with Chicago and New Orleans.  I would think they would let him if he wanted to interview but I haven't seen anyone saying the Dolphins were granting it.

I presume the CHI and NO interviews are for head coach, which don't require permission.
You have to allow any assistant coach to interview for a promotion.

Drew also said this in the interview when pressed Rosenhaus on the part about Hill still wanting to be a Dolphin.

"Let me just say this," Rosenhaus said. "I've got to have that conversation with Tyreek. I'm not going to speak for him. We'll discuss that. That's going to be really something we work out over the ... I'm not going to say he does or he doesn't."He was wishy washy at best. Tyreek is unstable and Drew is just trying to manage things right now.

Tyreek is unstable and Drew is trying to manage the situation until it clears. It's funny because Tyreek keeps trying to get fans to come to his store at the Aventura Mall but refuses to acknowledge anything about the incident yet all the comments attack him. He needs to apologize to fans before many will ever forgive him. They are tired of catering to prima donna players who still are not winning.

Me either. Tyreek being Tyreek. He's emotional and said what he said without really thinking about what it was he was saying. I still think he wants to play for a winner, but I'm not sure that he's gonna get a better offer than returning to the Dolphins.

I also would understand if we traded him.  Such is life.
This is gonna come down to who will want him. He didn't have a good season, but he's only a year removed from a great season so somebody will come calling, the question is will it be the right team? There's not a lot of good teams that will be willing to bring on Tyreek and his salary in my humble opinion.

Someone would have to take his contract and reward us with picks.
This is the problem. Not many teams are gonna want Tyreek in that way and of those teams are any of them "winning" teams? You really think KC wants you back? Not with your salary they don't.

Of the five teams CBS Sports listed as trade possibilities (Atlanta, Baltimore, Green Bay, LA Chargers, Washington), the Commanders would be at the top of my list to talk with if we go down this path. NFC playoff team on the up with a young QB and plenty of cap space, so potentially appealing for all parties.
