Yeah it was inevitable once KC clinched 1st place. Maybe Denver can choke still, Carson Wentz is a solid backup, but our chances are pretty slim now.

Sucks because Colts about to lose

I will laugh if both Denver and the Jets win.

Honestly I’m nervous about the Jets game. If it is Rodgers’ last game I’m sure he will want it to be a win, and the jets would love to embarrass us.

The worst scenario though would be KC’s back ups best Denver, Miami loses and the Bengals win, that would gut me.

KC can't rest everybody, and the pressure will be on the Bronco's to win.  Not to mention the KC backups will be playing all out to show what they can do, and take advantage of the opportunity.

This could come back to bite the Chiefs in the ass.   I've seen several instances where the #1 seed rests its starters on the last week of the regular season and then ends up being upset at home in the divisional round.

I remember that happened with Manning’s Colts. From Christmas to the divisional round is a long time too

And with Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay in '11.  Not to mention the Cowboys back in '07.

Funny thing about both those games.  A key assistant on both those teams became the Dolphins head coach shortly after.
