I thought Huntley made the first down and the pass was backward, but you can't really burn all your challenges in the 3rd quarter.  Choosing to challenge the inital spot meant McDaniel should have passed on the second challenge.

If MIA loses this game for any reason those failed challenges will be cited as the "cause."

edit: it's worth noting that CLE came away with 0 points on that drive

D comes up big to bail us out again.

Great defense by Ramsey on the 4th down play - that's what we're paying him for, and not to hand his opponent off to a safety like the last few times in these situations.

It’s the play call on the 4th down that irks me, you’re telling me Snoop can’t sneak for less than half a yard?

I’m listening so I can’t really optimally judge the challenges but that play call just annoys me, if you can’t sneak it you can’t do a lower run with Ingold? Like almost anything other than that.

Browns went for it in 4th from the 4 and defense bailed us out again.

Browns really screwed up there, they should have taken the short FG to make it a one score game.

It's wet, and they mentioned their kicker has problems with shots at distance at the moment.

I thought the initial ruling with Huntley was correct, he was about 1 yard short. The only reason I thought it may have been worth a challenge was if we were running out of time for the 4th down play (it looked like it) and McDaniel would have had to burn a timeout anyway.

After that failed, McDaniel should have passed on the second challenge, which looked a very marginal chance anyway.

D gave us a short field, and this time we cashed in.

Impressed by Huntley's game today, and he had a lot of help this time in contrast to his previous appearances.

Considering we were 2-6 and are now playing for a chance at the playoffs ( a small chance ) I think we can take positivity into the season. McDaniel didn’t lose the locker room and we didn’t lay down and die.

The football gods seem to be with us today, and the Browns have no interest in winning this.

We just have to make sure we don't gift it to them by making crucial mistakes.
Just watched the replay of the game and I'd like to clear up one thing. The Browns were definitely taking the game seriously and playing hard to win. Garret was on a mission. The Browns are just that bad or maybe more to the point their QB is just that bad and we all know what it's like when your QB is that bad. Huntley actually played well, that was the difference in the game. Hell at times I thought it was the Dolphins that had no interest in winning this game the number of stupid penalties and plays we had.
