Athletes refuse to just be honest so you have to read through the symbolism. Today Ramsey posted this about going somewhere else when you are underappreciated and valued. People are taking it as him saying he wants out. This means now two athletes who were given raises while under large contracts want to leave.

Are we even getting our money's worth with Ramsey?

I don't think so. I've been complaining about him all season. He is paid to be a difference maker but mostly gets noticed for getting beat. The first game he covered Garret Wilson and Wilson had 7 catches for like a 125 yards or something. It didn't look like they had him playing man very much yesterday.

I don't really do so well with this reading between the lines stuff.  If you're getting paid a ton of money and not really producing -- I can actually ride with you.  But if that's the case and you're also unhappy about it, I'm just not here for it.

If you take a 3.5 million dollar violin on the subway you deserve to get robbed, I’m broke and trying to get to work not listen to your god damn violin + Jalen Ramsey sucked this year.

Speaking of violins, please pass me the worlds smallest violin to play in sympathy for Ramsey feeling undervalued.

He's in my top two of the most overpaid, overrated Miami players of 2024.

It was a Washington DC subway, not New York.  And the Boston concert occurred a few days afterwards not before.

While it doesn't significantly change the message Ramsey and everyone else should verify things like this before blindly reposting.

And what flaws the experiment is a trained ear could tell the difference between Bell and your average subway musician in a silent concert hall--the average non-musician couldn't. And even to an expert Bell would sound no better than a decent violist in a nosy subway station.

I just read elsewhere that Ramsey is basically untradeable from the contract restructure before the start of the season - there would be a $44 million cap hit, which is $27 million more than if we don't trade him.

Thanks again Grier.  Roll Eyes

Yeah it’s been a bad two days for Greer.

Apparently, Ramsey has addressed the rumor about the cryptic tweet with another indicating it's not true. Or so they say.

https://www.si.com/nfl/jalen-ramsey-squashes-rumors-leave-dolphins-following-cryptic-social-post

Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, with the cap situation (and potentially Tyreek's exit) we have no room to deal away Ramsey right now. Maybe at the end of next season.

That's debatable. His boss said he is not being held accountable for his results so that's a pretty darned good day if you ask me. Hahaha How many of us would sign up for that deal?
