I'm fine if Tik Tok goes, honestly.  I can definitely see how you'd say it's a security risk.  ...not just for the algorithm stuff, although that argument seems to have waned since all of our homegrown apps are feeding us misinformed trash and grifts anyway.  But in terms of it being a listening device, that's concerning.  There's so much reach and no oversight at all.  Your enemy has a microphone in so many American homes.

All federal government employees are prohibited from having TikTok on their government issued smartphones, tablets or laptops.   That right there should tell you something.

Federal employees shouldn't have tictoc, Facebook, pornhub, draft Kings, thedolphinsmakemecry, or ESPN on their taxpayer supplied devices.  Doesn't mean they should be banned.
