McDaniel knows first hand Jimmy G is a pain in the arse. He wouldn't even return coaches calls when away from complex. I don't see Mike ever wanting him.

+1

Jimmy G isn't going to play through a hangnail on his finger, and that's not good if you're the #2 guy.  Too many times I've seen the backup come in and go out with a minor injury leaving the team with its 3rd stringer..

Mariotta would have been okay, but not a long term solution.  With Wilson there's a potential to be a long term solution when Tua receives his career ending concussion.

So I saw that after Dallas trades for Joe Milton, some sportscasters are saying that Dak should be worried about his job. So let me get this straight, the Dolphins go and get a former 2nd pick in the draft and 33 game starter to backup Tua and he's a bum, but Dallas trades for a 6th round pick with one start and he's gonna replace Dak? Got it. I'll believe it when I see it.

By the way Wilson is the same age as Joe Milton, 25.

lol these "reporters" just like to drum up controversy, especially when it comes to Dallas.  As much as I think Dak isn't going to take Dallas to a Championship game, let alone a Super Bowl, there's no way Milton is brought in to challenge him as a starter.  I don't see Tua not being the starter, but as soon as Tua goes out injured it could be the end of his days as a Miami starting QB.

It seems like Tua isn't too worried about Wilson being any competition for his job.

I wonder if Tyreek is going to call him out again for getting fat?

Not until camp rolls around.  That's his MO.
