For me, I think we need to replace Wilkens to seal up the the line with Zach. Then I would draft an OT to play guard. It wouldn't kill me if they went opposite but you are likely to find a decent T/G in the second than a stout defensive lineman in my opinion.

We still need a corner to start opposite of Ramsey too.

I agree but I think the trenches are what won the Super Bowl and we are so far from being a contender there it isn't even funny. It also helps every other position. Both times Mahomes faced defenses who dominated his O-line in the Super Bowl he was beaten fairly easily. It's also what happened when Brady was getting beat by Eli twice. We can't continue to try and get by with whatever is available. We saw how that worked out last year and it was pretty ugly.

Yeah I’m with you the most important positions are QBs obviously followed by a D-Line who can hinder a quarterback and stop the run so they become one dimensional.

I’ll be pissed if we draft another corner or safety though Griers draft record there sucks.

I’d also be fine with a guard 1sr and DT second we have some great backs they just need someone to set a damn block

I'm with Phish on this one. There is quality and depth on both lines in this class, but Miami can get one of the elite sides of beef at #13.  An OT like Banks out of Texas or Membou out of Missouri would be nice...Will Campbell if I'm dreaming. If they go D-line, Mason Graham would be a nice pick if he slides.

...and since both SF and Miami have some similar needs, I can pull for either team to grab these guys.

I sure wish we could justify going after RB Ashton Jeanty. He looks an awful lot like LaDainian Tomlinson to me...

Basically I'm thinking the same way. We still have so many holes in our roster that it has to be best player available there (that's not QB, WR, TE, or RB).

At Pick 13 we could have available the best prospect at interior OL, possibly CB and maybe even OT (if Banks falls that far). Starks has always been a top prospect there as a kind of S/CB hybrid, and the potential leader Minkah would have been for us (if that fucking idiot Flores didn't drive him out of the team). We need a stud to go with Sieler up front too, and there may be a decent candidate there. I'd have no problem with any of these being selected.

I said earlier I'd grab the best linebacker on the board with our second pick, but if by some fluke OG Booker is still there (as have been speculated on some mocks) I'd grab him in a heartbeat if he fell to the second round.

I'd be really pissed if we selected TE Warren (or a WR) in the first round. We have way too many other needs to blow that on a luxury pick.

^^^ If Booker (or Grey Zabel, for that matter) makes it to Miami's pick in round two, I am stiff-arming mother fuckers out of the way as I run that pick to the podium.

Agree on Warren. This TE class is too good to go early on him. When I mock through round 5. I can usually get a solid one in rds 4-5.

I think the CB class warrants a round 2-3 pick. I see them falling off a bit after that point.

Looking at various mock drafts I keep seeing Miami drafting a CB or maybe a defensive lineman.  If Miami drafts anything other than an OT I'm going to be pissed.  They can get one of the top 2 or 3 OT's in the draft.  Armstead is done, and even if he plays we all know he's only good for 6 or 7 games.  It's a year where the teams in front of Miami won't be picking O-lineman (1 maybe 2 will), so it's a great opportunity to get a long term guy for the Oline.
