If you're out there trying to spend no money, what do you do to fill your time?

Haven't been in this situation in a long long time, but if I wanted to not spend money, I would simply binge watch a show or play games on my phone.

When I was young it would be to play sports or go hiking. Now it's pretty much find a movie or TV show.

I have more than enough offline entertainment at home to keep me busy for years, from unwatched movies & TV shows to games I have bought but yet to play.

I am somehow always preparing for a hypothetical extended internet outage (days? weeks?) where I have no internet access, because with internet access lack of entertainment is a complete non-issue: there are plenty of (no additional cost) games I can play online with others, or watch videos, or browse the internet, etc.

It's super easy for me to sit at home and avoid spending money.

I live on a small farm so there is always something to do. Otherwise I just watch stupid stuff I wouldn't normally do.

A lot of my hobbies don't take up ongoing money.  But they did take money to start up.

So, I have an aquarium, for example.  It takes a whole day to fully rescape it.
I have a small garden -- it is a day of work to process the compost and clean up the garden.
I play Fortnite on XBOX, which is free.
I have access to a ton of old movies on free services.
I also have some nature-adjacent hobbies, like collecting ecospeheres and geocaching.  That process takes you to some cool places.
I have costumes that I'm building in the garage.

Most of these took money to set up, but once they're up and running, the ongoing upkeep isn't costly, unless you choose it to be.
