Perhaps overdue, but it's never too late...

Born and raised in Ohio, but I have been lucky enough to see the Dolphins play up here, and they didn't score...   not even a field goal...  but i'm now 21 years old and am a junior at Mount Union College in Alliance, OH.  It's a good school with a great football tradition and it seems like it's a good match, it's worked out thus far anyway.

I've lived for the dolphins since the impressionable age of 7 when Dan Marino "responded" to one of my letters with an "autographed" picture.  like i said, impressionable age.  In fact, I'm actually looking for a marketing position in the Miami area following graduation, and I've got a few leads.  Maybe I'll eventually pick up one of those fabled "The Dolphins Make Me Cry" orange t-shirts if I make it down there.

Some of my most prominent memories are of the Dolphins and their struggles (Marino's achilles tear, losing to the Chargers in AFC Championship...) so I figured this might be a good site to pay attention to.  Anyway, that's what I've got, and if you're wondering about the picture, purple is our school color and we made those suits for the national title game last fall...

how i found tdmmc: i think through google. i was looking for a dolphin forum since i live in new york and don't have any dolphin friends, found this one first. then i found dolphinblog, etc., later.

live now: live in new york, for past eight years. i was at a bar in gramercy when those damn jets pulled off that mnf victory with testaverde at the helm. damn those jets. ha. they suck now.

grew up: we moved to miami when i was less than a year old. i grew up in kendall, at the crossings (don carter kendall lanes anybody?). went to public school all my life.

occupation: i work at an advertising and design firm. you know, logos, ad campaigns, blah blah

best live dolphin game: dolphins beat the colts in playoffs OT with the rb going into the end zone. i went with my sister. we went nuts.

also, dolphins beat steelers to go to super bowl, in 83? i barely remember it. i do remember i made a poster, though.

worst: dolphins get shelacked by raiders on mnf, with bo jackson and marcus allen kicking our butts.

worst fear: the dolphins never winning the sb in my lifetime

p.s. this site is awesome. i love the dolphins. they've gotten me through some rough times.

How I found TDMMC: Through one of my best friends Dave Gray

I was born in Boca Raton, FL.  Currently live in Delray.  I was one of the originals to join TDMMC and would actually hang out at Dave's Moms house back in the day and watch him create this website.  I am a student at PBCC and only 9 credits away from my Associates Degree.  From there I plan to attend FAU to pursue a Computer Science Degree and hope to become a programmer.  Music is my first love and have been playing the guitar/bass guitar for about 9 years now.  Dave and I used to jam all the time and used to have a band called Acetone playing mostly Nirvana/Skynyrd/Deftones covers.

I was bred to love the Fins.  Growing up my father was a season ticket holder in the good old days of Duper and Clayton; he would take me to numerous games when the Fins played at the Orange Bowl.  Unfortunately, my Father passed away when I was 9 years old, but I know he would be excited about our team this year.  I am a huge Miami Heat Fan as well.  Hockey's cool and extremely fun to see live.  Not a big fan of Baseball, but do have an extensive baseball card collection.  Most of all...I am Dave and the crew's biggest fan for making the coolest Miami Dolphin site on the net.  Thanks guys!!

Playing the bass with my former band rehabitual.

Fellow Dolfans:

I found this site by search engine. I think that the Hall Of Shame is hilarious! If I had to put my vote in, I would vote for someone out of another era...the Dolphins first coach, George Wilson! I think he beats Wannstedt by a hair!

I live in Denver, Colorado but I grew up 2 miles from the Orange Bowl. I remember the Dolphins when they started becoming a powerhouse around 1970.

It's simple. I'm a Dolfan until the day I die! To me, it's the essence of Miami! If it wasn't for the excellence of the Dolphins, we probably wouldn't have the Heat. Marlins or Panthers. Don Shula began the winning legacy and thats why he'll always be the "Coach" in my book!

I'm glad that B-Ball season is over and I can't wait for training camp to start! I think that Miami is going at least to the AFC Championship Game. We're overdue! I think Ronnie Brown is the next great running back in the NFL.

I miss the "old" Miami. The Orange Bowl shaking, the innocence of the beaches, The zoo when it was on Key Biscanye, etc. Love Nick Saban! Think he's the second coming of Shula and just what the organization needed after the Jimmy-Dave regime.

Anyway, it's a new era and the Dolphins are number 1! Go Dolphins!

I'm a student in college.  I love the game of football.  I played it, coached it, and follow it religiously.

I am also crazy about women, partying, and having a good time.

I have been a diehard fish fan ever since I started following the NFL and will always be one.  Point blank.

Anyway, can somebody give me more information on what happened to the site?  I was able to register OK

Will the posts from this year be recovered?  I hope so,  I like going through and reading all the post game reactions from this season and seasons past.

I hope we don't lose this site.  I like this community
