An interesting note about Maurice Clarett.  He's looking at 20 years.  Ohio is one of the toughest states when it comes to armed robbery.  According to his agent, he planned to go to Europe this spring for a stint in NFLE to prove himself.  Consider that plan dead, because if you are under prosecution for a crime, you cannot leave the country.  

At least Vick still has a chance to pull himself together after what went down.  Some team will take a gamble on him.  Clarett?  He's done.

It would be a gamble if he was any good in college, but he's a bum to begin with.   This would be charity.

The kid's got some talent but his experience is sorely lacking.  That said, I'm sure some team will take a run at him, probably gamble on him in the draft where you should (picks 5-7).  However, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up not being drafted.

I agree.  If we can get him as an undrafted free agent, we have very little to lose if he doesn't pan out.  And if he does, Saban and Mueller will look like geniuses.
