The forty whiners and san diego. 17PT favorites were the whines, and the chargers offered no resistance.

I agree. Completely unwatchable. I remember Deion Sanders lining up as WR at the end of that one. The 49ers were toying with them in the 4th quarter.

the Ravens Giants wasn't good, but the halftime show at that one was even worse!!!!

I must also give honorable mention the the pats panthers game, since I'm a carolina native, and I've always liked the panthers, add that to my hatred of the patsies, and thats pretty self explanitory.

Asleep in my couch by the second quarter.  Horrible, awful game.  It gets my vote.

Gotta give it to the Ravens-Giants in 2000.  They set two notorious records that night:

1.  Most punts in a Super Bowl

2. Most points scored in least amount of time.

There was a punt returned for a TD by the Giants, then the ensuing kickoff was returned for a TD by the Ravens.  The Giants got the ball back, and two plays later, the Ravens picked it off and ran it back for another TD.  Three touchdowns in less than 1 1/2 minutes.  Super Bowl record.

I'm a Giants fan, so I can't say it was the worst because I was into it.

I think Denver / ATL was pretty bad.  The Patriots / Panthers 1st half was atrocious.

See, I give it to 49ers Chargers because there was no excitement after the first, what...15 minutes?  At least the Giants-Ravens game had that 1 1/2 minutes during which 3 touchdowns were scored.  Punt return-kickoff return-interception return.  Pretty cool.

Why would that be bad though? That is excitement which people want in a Super Bowl.

My choice goes to The 52-10 drubbing of the Bills by the Cowboys. I hated the Cowboys back then.

Setting the record for most punts in a Super Bowl does not qualify for excitement.  I watched that game and the majority of it was boring.

I think you guys are crazy. That Niners-Bolts SB was wonderful to watch. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen...that is, when the conga line passed through the living room, of course.  Grin
