I knew this deal eventually had to happen when you posted the picture below in the other thread.  I mean, c'mon...doesn't that crater in center field look JUST like a cereal bowl? Unless there was some dude in the minors named Tony Granola, I couldn't see Boston filling that hole with anyone BUT Coco Crisp!

Gabe and I actually sat down and shot the breeze last week for a while, interesting you asked about him.  If he's ready to go, he'll play for Boston.  He'd rather sit the year than sign some place else.  Gabe was really smart with his money, he doesn't need to play another inning if he doesn't want to.
