This deal got done a couple of days ago...I almost posted it up here, but thought I'd be the only one who cared.  Undecided

As long as Piazza still has a little pop in his bat, then I like this signing. I'd prefer a defensive monster behind the plate, but Piazza will do in a pinch.

To think that Piazza is by far the greatest offensive catcher in history, and he has only played in pitcher's parks.

Truth be told, I would rather play him at first base, and get a catcher with a better defensive mentality.
