Ricky.  He may be a pain in the arse sometimes, but he is not a locker room cancer.  T.O. destroys every place he goes.

Definitely Ricky.  The only risk you have with Ricky is that he might not play.  You're not at risk for him taking the team down with him.

Both.  I've said this countless times..... if there is one coach that can get T.O. to behave, it's Nick Saban.  Saban will not stand for the crap T.O. pulled in Philly.  Imagine if we pick up T.O. as well as a good QB and a few stud O-Linemen, and Ricky comes out of this situation unscathed:

Double team T.O. and there goes Chris Chambers

Single team T.O. and Chambers, there goes T.O.

Double team them both, there goes Randy McMichael across the middle

Drop a linebacker for extra coverage, there go Ricky and Ronnie.

Like SunStroke, that's the squishiest of wet dreams for me, as well as nightmares for opposing defensive coordinators.

Nick Saban is a 2nd year coach.  You think an ego maniac like TO is going to listen to him?  What's Saban gonna do, cut him?  Take a cap hit?  Saban is still new at this.  Sure, he may be better than the raging monkeys we had in here prior, but let's take a few deep breaths before we crown him the king of discipline.

Ricky. If all these drug stories are proven false, I want him to stay with the Phins.

My opinion on TO's performance with Miami...

If the Eagles, Ravens, and 49ers arent enough indication of what to expect, see also Alvin Harper/Bucs and Eric Green/Dolphins.

Ricky for the reasons posted above.

It will be interesting to see how long Philly suffers from their TO hangover.

Yes Saban will cut him.... and the cap hit will not be so significant.  Me thinks T.O. is going to get a deal with a small base salary but huge incentives for behavior and performance, as well as little, if any, signing bonus.

Harper and Green were examples of guys who were slackers.  They did not want to work, and it caught up with them in terms of performance.  T.O. is no slacker.  In fact, he is one of the hardest working guys out there.  His problems all involve off-field incidents.  Look what he was doing when he walked out of training camp...... that's right, he was in his driveway pressing weights!!!

No one can argue his work ethic, though I really do wonder what truly drives Terrell to work so hard on his physique. My money's on narcissism.

I will say that if Owens ever directed his total focus on evolving his "receiving" skills (route precision, mental focus on the catch, knowledge of defenders, that stuff) to complement his obvious physical gifts, instead of playing basketball, rapping, reality TV, stroking his own ego while the flashbulbs pop, etc..., you'd have the greatest WR to ever play the game. Maybe kidnap Jerry Rice (before he can embarrass me with another fukkin' fandango), remove his brain and transplant it into Owens' skull...

His problems all involve off-field incidents.

I consider the sidelines, during a game, to be "on-field" incidents, and when he went after Greg Knapp on national TV, that was on-field. When he threw a headset at Mariucci and went off to have a tantrum, that was on-field. T.O.'s head problems are pretty much an "every waking moment" kind of situation.

... that's right, he was in his driveway pressing weights!

Ya see, that's what makes being a fan great. Two people can watch the same televised event.

...one person sees a finely tuned athlete training hard, pressing weights in his driveway.

...the other sees an attention whore, appropriately lying on his back, doing weak-ass sit-ups for about 50 members of the media in a lame attempt to show his "normal person" side and stop people from writing and saying bad things about him (T.O. wants everyone to love T.O., dontcha know?) after his team told him to  "go away, you cancerous whiny bitch." <paraphrased>

What makes you think T.O. will agree to these terms?  Me thinks he most certainly will be looking for a long term, big money deal with a huge signing bonus.
