Am I the only one who hates this guy so much he wishes his next injection is filled with Drano? More self absorbed than a roll of Bounty. It's practically a foregone conclusion that he will at least pass Babe Ruth on the HR list, but make no mistake about it, Bonds isn't fit to fetch Babe his 6 in game hot dogs.

Maybe a Hollywood producer will sign him to a movie contract.  I even have a title:

I'm praying for some escaped psycho out of a mental ward somewhere ..comes along about May...Then jumps out of the Stands, takes his one of Barry's bats...and pull a Tonya Hardings Botfriend to Nancy Kerrigan on his ass....nothing that will cripple him forever...just enbought for him not to break the record....

I've resorted to facing the fact that he's going to get it,unless some freakish lightning bolt hits him in the dugout.

I admit,he's an awsome hitter...but what "enhancements" has he done?...Until someone can prove it,beyond the shadow of a doubt...I have to accept it.

Regardless,of what records he holds...I feel,He'll be looked upon with a skeptical eye, when mentioned as one of the greatest to play the game....

Mantle,Dimaggio,Musial,Ruth,Arron,...Bonds?

I agree.  Bonds, along with McGwire, Canseco, Palmeiro, and any other known juicer should either not be allowed into the Hall of Fame, or have their records marked with an asterisk (or better yet, a syringe).  That way, when someone asks about the syringe mark, someone else can say "It means his records are suspect because he may have taken steroids".

I don't care if there was no policy against steroids back in the days.  It gave those guys an unfair advantage, and allowed them to easily break records that guys like Mantle, Maris, Ruth, Aaron, and others worked so hard naturally to get.

I'm not really concerned with them having an unfair advantage because steroids are easy enough to get that any ballplayer could take them.....of course, not every player has the top steroid company living in his backyard like Bonds, but you get the point.

I just don't like having their marks compared to guys who definitely weren't on it like Ruth and Aaron and Williams. Aaron had to battle extreme racism and death threats when he put up his numbers and eventually passed Ruth for the all-time HR mark. To hear a guy like Barry cry racism every now and then makes me sick.

I personally still consider Roger Maris' 61 HR to be the single season record. Anyone who ha ssurpassed that total has been an obvious juicer.

I don't think the steroids issue is that clear-cut. People have all kinds of artificial stuff done to their bodies to improve their game. A lot of hitters and pitchers have gotten Lasik to improve their vision. Should that mean their records are marked with an asterisk? Bonds wears a huge elbow pad that lets him stand right on top of the plate. Is that a separate reason to mark his records with an asterisk? It's just not so clear why some things are cheating and others aren't.

That's kinda what I meant when I said it gives the juicers an unfair advantage over guys who worked hard and broke those records natrually.

Here's how you can tell if it matters or not: Go to a cop and tell him you have:

1) Corrective eye surgery
2) A personal trainer
3) A mouthful of Dianobol

See which one he raises a fuss over  Evil

P.S. Bonds' elbow pad is actually illegal due to it's size, but MLB turns a blind eye. Believe me, being able to crowd the plate without fear of getting hurt is a HUGE advantage. David Ortiz crowds the plate and only got hit once last year, probably because pitchers fear he will eat them if they get too close. So does Giambi. So does Jeter actually, but none of those guys wear huge armor. If they get hurt, so be it. Giambi and Jeter get hit a ton and they keep doing it. That's why what they do is alright.

But this kind of misses the point. You're saying something is cheating if and only if it's also illegal. But, if I remember right, baseball bans many substances and practices that are legal. So clearly baseball doesn't agree that illegality is the standard. For example, it's not illegal to put a cork in a baseball bat or rub some Crisco on a baseball, but it is cheating. So the fact that something is illegal can't be what makes it cheating.

He stated awhile back that he was not concerned with passing Aaron....he just wanted to get past Babe Ruth because he was white......Bonds is a fuckbag. I would love nothing more than to see his dumbass come down with a season ending (non-life threatening) injury to prevent this from happening!!!!! I have always hated Bonds and every time he opens his mouth....I hate him even more!!!!!
